Good Morning Guys! Can you believe it’s still raining?? I was thanking God for the continual rain this morning and it got me thinking…How can we take all of this glorious rain and turn it into something even better?

We have had such an abundance of rain lately, but that’s not always the case. So why not collect some of the rainwater while we can? Here at Myra’s we don’t have a rainwater collection system in place, so I found a couple DIY Rainwater Collection sources to gain some knowledge on the subject.

After reading through a few DIY’s and rummaging around in our storage container I’ve realized we have almost everything we need to complete this project! Who knows, the same might be said for you?

I love it when saving junk comes in handy!! And if you don’t have a bunch of junk laying around, try’n choose a project that uses materials similar to some of the things you have on hand. Some projects included PVC pipe instead of typical gutters, or old Trash Cans used as water barrels.
